Beethoven’s famous „TaTaTaTaa“ Symphony is the centre of tonight’s Programme, performed by the Camerata Schweiz under the baton of conductor Graziella Contratto. A completely normal concert, if it weren’t for the appearance of two who are
quite out of place in this environment: Ursus & Nadeschkin.
With their questions the concert stage is transformed into a playground for ludicrous experimentation: What is missing, when the conductor is missing? Are section sheep really limelight-hogs in
disguise? When does the score become coreography? Can you sight-read comedy? What is a sense of timing? And who exactly is this Beethoven character?
The answers are anything but reassuring… One thing is however certain: The audience experience an evening where the symphony orchestra, with Beethoven’s masterpiece, completely
outdoes itself. The public witness Classical and Comedy meeting on the concertstage to „dig in the orchestra pit“ together.

Inhaltlich sind Ursus und Nadeschkin zusammen mit dem Orchester top. Allerdings ist das Berner Kulturcasino nicht zu empfehlen. Akustik ist schlecht. Wir sassen in der 2. Hälfte des Parketts (Tickets 2. Kategorie), allerdings hörten wir teilweise das Gesprochene nicht bzw. nur undeutlich. Auch die Sicht war sehr schlecht, Mimik etc. sah man überhaupt nicht.

Ursus und Nadeschkin sowie das Orchester selbst sind über sich hinausgewachsen. Wir haben uns köstlich amüsiert.

Ursus und Nadeschkins schwächste Leistung, die ich je gesehen habe.
Man möchte sein Geld zurück. Beethovens 5. kann ich seitdem nicht mehr hören. Das beste war die Pause dazwischen.
