Groove Now Blues Weeks BaselSince 2010, we have been exclusively presenting the world’s best and most exciting blues and soul musicians—mostly from the U.S.—at the Groove Now Blues Weeks Basel. The festival is regarded by experts, agents, and the musicians themselves as one of the most interesting blues and soul festivals in the world. It takes place in the intimate setting of a museum in the heart of Basel.
When selecting musicians, quality is the sole criterion. It’s not the name that matters, but the quality of the music. That’s why we exclusively feature musicians who have long proven themselves to be among the best in the world.
The festival program often features exclusive, curated music projects as well as world premieres that can only be seen in Basel. We often discuss these projects with the musicians two to three years in advance.
The venue’s capacity is limited to 180 people, all of whom have a seat.
