27th WORLD BAND FESTIVAL LUZERN presents
Andrew Bonds Jahreszeiten - Family ConcertSwiss Youth Symphony Orchestra
Andrew Bond, children's songwriter
Droujelub Yanakiew, conductor
Andrew Bond is one of the most successful children's songwriters in Switzerland today. Together with the Swiss Youth Symphony Orchestra, he takes children from the age of four on a journey through the musical seasons. Together they make snowflakes swirl and summer thunderstorms crash. There will be music by Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky and others, but especially lots of Bond songs to sing along to! Real nursery evergreens like "Sunnestrahl, tanz emal". Andrew Bond has had a varied career as a theologian, youth worker, teacher, part-time househusband and children's song inventor. What began as a family hobby has developed into a remarkable success story with 750,000 CDs sold, the production of nine fairytale musicals and the award of an honorary doctorate. At his guest performance in Lucerne, the musicians of the Swiss Youth Symphony Orchestra are building a bridge to the young audience. They are all between 15 and 25 years old and therefore children of the "Bond generation" themselves, who grew up with "Zimetschtern han i gern" and other Bond classics.
60 minutes (without intermission) - suitable from 4 years
