Biography - Dr. John

Fifth time at Montreux for the New-Orleans pianist, guitarist and singer. Dr John's career started in the 50', gaining international recognition in the 70' thanks to "Right Place Wrong Time", probably his biggest hit. He is known for his theatrical stage shows, inspired by Mardi Gras costumes and voodoo ceremonies. His music combines blues, boogie-woogie and psychedelic rock.
