Biography - Ohlala

Ohlala is a show production that combines artistry, eroticism and theatre. Initiated by Gregory and Rolf Knie, the format offers a modern interpretation of variety theatre for an adult audience.

A new aesthetic

The show breaks with the classic conventions of the circus and focuses on an aesthetic concept that combines sensual elements with physical excellence. Ohlala usually performs in a specially designed tent that creates an intimate atmosphere and blurs the boundary between stage and audience.

Artistry for adults

The programme changes annually and features international artists who are among the world's best in their respective disciplines. The combination of dance, music and acrobatics creates a total work of art that deliberately seeks to polarise and clearly sets itself apart from family-oriented formats.
