Rikas return to Switzerland
Rikas have been on the road to success together for 10 years. On their upcoming Europe-wide tour "Dog Days", Rikas want to celebrate the spirit of their beginnings and play at selected venues that have played an important role on their journey.
"Dog Days" are the hottest days of the year, and Rikas are named after the family dog of one of the band members - reason enough to dedicate themselves to this mission. It all began with their debut EP "Swabian Samba" from 2018, and in the years since, Rikas have built a loyal fan base with their bouncy, laid-back harmonies, infectious choruses and egalitarian style, with each member contributing equally to the songwriting and taking the spotlight both in the studio and on stage. Following their warm and inviting 2019 debut album 'Showtime' and two interim EPs (2021's 'Short Stories' and 2022's 'Goodbye Sunshine'), Rikas became a live phenomenon in Germany and their reputation began to spread beyond its borders. Their second album "Soundtrack For A Movie That Has Not Been Written Yet" led them to their first sold-out headlining shows from London to Lisbon, Amsterdam and Paris. In 2026, Rikas are ready to bring their shows to their ever-growing fan base around the globe.
