The Screaming Potatoes have been on the road together for more than three and a half decades. And the journey continues. In their eleventh "Vocal Comedy Show", they embark on a new expedition: a journey from the majestic peaks of the Alps to the big city - and back.
"zäme" tells of the rare, great moments that we live for, in which we leave everyday life behind us and grow wings. Of the feelings that go straight to the heart: Heimweh and wanderlust, longing and security, finiteness and infinity. Music from Switzerland in front of wonderful images that were shot and edited especially for this production. But anyone who knows the Screaming Potatoes knows that in the end nothing is as it seems. The grandiose becomes mundane and the mundane becomes extremely amusing. It always turns out differently - light-footed and "tuba dancing".
New is that Seraphin Schlager and Carmen Nuñez are now directing and conducting the family line-up with an extremely skillful hand. What hasn't changed is that the uniquely exquisite and original vocal arrangements come from Jimmy Muff and the rich riffs, the crisp bass lines and the harmonic base from the accomplished backing band.
"zäme" entertains, amuses, goes deep and moves, makes us all "juchzgen" with joy and pleasure. Once again a show not to be missed!
