Founded in 1988 in Lausanne, Sens Unik is THE pioneering rap group in Switzerland. In the 1990s
, they shaped an entire generation with hits such as “To the Moon Please,” “Laisse toi aller”
, and “Paquito.” Their music gained international recognition and earned them five gold
records. They are among the four groups from the early days of Francophone rap and
also founded the first independent French rap label, Unik Records.
After two decades of success and nine albums, the group decided in 2010 to go their separate ways
. But in 2025, the stars align: Sens Unik is reuniting—with
the same members as in 2010, Just One, Deborah, Bio, MC Carlos, and newcomer Jiggy Jones.
