The techno community can look forward to a night full of energy, excitement, and unforgettable moments. Once again this year, no effort has been spared in putting together a spectacular lineup. Some of the biggest names in the international electronic music scene will be performing across 5 dance floors. Featuring (in alphabetical order) A.N.I., Blastoyz, Brennan Heart, Dasstudach, Da Tweekaz, DJ Tatana, Tripping with Dr. Peacock LIVE, Dr. Z, Ferry Corsten, Hysta, Hysta vs. Promo, Lady Tom – The Queen’s Return, Liquid Soul, MIAZ Live Vocals & Dance Show, Omiki, POLTERGST, Ruben de Ronde, The Saints, The Sickest Squad pres. Bassdrum Demolition or Toza, visitors can expect a lineup that leaves nothing to be desired and brings together the entire spectrum of electronic music—from trance to psytrance to hardstyle, hardcore, and techno.
The multi-award-winning Sonic has been one of the most important events on the Swiss rave scene for over two decades and is a must-attend event on the party calendar for thousands of visitors. Since its premiere in 2000, with numerous editions held in Basel, Roggwil, and Kloten, the event is now taking place for the tenth time at the unique Bännli industrial site in Wolfwil near Egerkingen. The extraordinary venue, with its unmistakable industrial charm, has long since established itself as the perfect home for Sonic and delights visitors year after year with its unique atmosphere.
For those who aren’t yet familiar with Wolfwil: The perfectly located Festivalgelände is situated in the heart of Switzerland. The Rothrist and Egerkingen highway exits, as well as the well-known “rave communities” of Gunzgen and Roggwil, are just a few minutes away. The Murgenthal Bahnhof, located on the main Zurich–Olten–Bern transportation corridor, is just a few minutes’ walk from the venue. The historic halls, combined with spacious outdoor areas and a nearly fully covered smoking and lounge area, create an unforgettable rave experience. Free shuttle buses run between the Bahnhof, bus stops, and parking lots.
Since Sonic has been completely sold out several times in recent years and particularly high demand is expected for the 35th anniversary edition, the organizer recommends purchasing tickets early during the presale and using public transportation whenever possible. Bahnhof & Shuttle Bus:
The nearest Bahnhof is Murgenthal, located a few hundred meters away. From there, you can easily reach the event either on foot or by shuttle bus (stop for the Aare Bridge on the Solothurn side). For safety reasons, Murgenthalerstrasse will be closed from the Aare Bridge (Solothurn side) to the edge of the Wolfwil forest from 8:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
