The Black Keys announce their PEACHES ‘N KREAM WORLD TOUR. On September 7, 2026, they will perform at the Festhalle Bern.
Today, the GRAMMY-winning rock duo The Black Keys announces their PEACHES ‘N KREAM WORLD TOUR ‘26, which kicks off on April 24 and will make stops in major cities such as New York, Chicago, Nashville, London, Paris, Milan, and others. All opening acts for the tour are from Dan Auerbach’s own record label, Easy Eye Sound, though the artists will vary by city. Artist presale begins on Thursday, February 12, at 10 a.m. local time. General ticket sales begin on Friday, February 13, at 10 a.m. local time.
Last week, The Black Keys returned with their new single “You Got To Lose” from their upcoming album *Peaches!* which will be released on May 1 via Easy Eye Sound/Warner Records. Peaches! can be pre-ordered/added to your wishlist here.
The Black Keys are heading out on tour following their hugely successful “No Rain, No Flowers” tour last year, during which the band sold over 250,000 tickets in North America and Europe—including sold-out shows at legendary venues such as the Red Rocks Amphitheater, the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, Spandau Citadel in Berlin, and Alexandra Palace Park in London, back on tour.
Citi is the official card of the PEACHES ‘N KREAM WORLD TOUR. Citi cardholders will have access to presale tickets through the Citi Entertainment program from Wednesday, February 11, at 10 a.m. local time, through Thursday, February 12, at 10 p.m. local time. Full details on the presale are available at www.citientertainment.com/.
Peaches!, the band’s fourteenth studio album, is a visceral and raw collection of 10 songs that singer Dan Auerbach describes as the band’s “most natural album” since their 2002 debut, The Big Come Up. The project came about after Auerbach’s late father was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and was staying at Dan’s house in Nashville, where his health rapidly deteriorated. Patrick Carney, Dan’s bandmate in the Black Keys and his oldest, closest friend, knew without asking “that it would be good for Dan to have something to do.” That “something,” of course, was going into the studio and turning up the amps.
“We didn’t record an album. We just jammed, as if it were just for us,” says Dan Auerbach. “It was really instinctive—at a time when everyone’s nerves were on edge, just to let it all out. We’d been through a lot and were trying to cheer each other up. I think my father’s illness made me not care about anything else and just want to scream.” In a similar DIY style to their debut, the album was recorded with all the musicians in one room, with only a few overdubs, and is the first album since 2006’s “Magic Potion” to be mixed entirely by the band themselves.
“Everything was recorded live in one take, without any breaks, including the vocals,” adds Patrick Carney. “Mixing it was a nightmare, but we managed to make it sound raw and dirty.” “Shitty is beautiful,” Dan adds.
The songs on *Peaches!* reflect Dan and Patrick’s obsessive passion for collecting records, which has escalated in recent years into an ongoing series of Record Hang DJ set dance parties. These Record Hangs sparked a deeper phase of musical archaeology for both of them. “I was specifically looking for 45s to play at the Record Hangs,” says Dan, “but sometimes I’d find a song and think, ‘Pat and I might have fun playing this live.’”
The cover of *Peaches!* features an image by the legendary Memphis-born photographer William Eggleston, a hero of the band who also designed the cover for their 2021 album *Delta Kream*. Patrick’s brother Michael Carney was also responsible for the design and artistic direction of this album, just as he was for the early albums by the Black Keys, for whose “Brothers” cover he won a Grammy. *Peaches!* will be available on vinyl, CD, cassette, and digitally.
