Other highlights build on these infectious foundations and then go one step further. "Between Directions", for example, adds orchestral strings that fit perfectly into The Halo Effect's energetic repertoire. Proggy synthesizers wobble at the beginning of the opener "Conspire To Deceive", "Our Channel To The Darkness" explodes from pensive acoustic guitars to a fat metal thunderstorm and the album comes to a choral and symphonic conclusion with the instrumental "Coda".
