CELEBRATING 15 YEARS OF "TOURIST HISTORY"
Two Door Cinema Club (UK) from Northern Ireland have been one of the defining indie bands of their generation since their debut "Tourist History". With songs such as "What You Know", "Something Good Can Work" and "Undercover Martyn", they combine catchy guitars with danceable, electronic sophistication. The album reached number 1 in the Irish charts and made the band internationally famous - from the rehearsal room in Bangor straight to the big festival stages worldwide. This was followed by successful albums such as "Beacon", "Gameshow", "False Alarm" and "Keep on Smiling", all of which reached top 10 positions in the UK and cemented their status as global festival headliners.
Although "Tourist History" was released in 2010, the 15th anniversary celebrations are still ongoing: In July 2026, Two Door Cinema Club will bring their debut full-length to the stage in Zurich, complemented by a selection of their greatest hits.
Two Door Cinema Club are the epitome of the cool Indi sound. The guitar hooks in combination with Alex Trimble's extraordinary voice are unmistakable and have found numerous imitators. Now the original is returning. A tour stop by the Northern Irish band is rare; they last played their own headline show in Zurich in 2017. It's high time.
