Every two years, the spectacular marching parade "Tattoo On Stage" can be experienced in the Konzertsaal of the KKL Luzern - Konzertsaal. The audience can expect a show in a class of its own with new formations, a completely new musical program and an impressive light show. Pulsating drum rhythms, virtuoso bagpipe playing, majestic fanfare sounds and rousing dance and show elements merge into a unique overall production. Top international formations present their brand new programs, including the Military Orchestra of the 194th Pontoon Bridge Brigade from Ukraine, the Innova Irish Dance Company from Ireland and the Mid Argyll Pipe Band & Highland Dancers from Scotland. The musical spectrum ranges from classical and film music to pop and rock hits. For the grand finale, all the performers will unite with the KKL Luzern organ to form the "Orchestra of Nations" and present the tattoo anthem "Highland Cathedral".
