Franco Cesarini’s *Bulgarian Dances* follow, unfolding the rhythmic sophistication of Bulgarian dance traditions. While György Ligeti’s *Concert Românesc* draws on the colors of Romanian shepherd music, soprano Lisa Tatin leads the audience in *Mysteries of the Macabre* through a virtuosic and expressive interplay of masquerade and musical wit. Finally, Nathan Stornetta’s *Images Balkaniques* combine modern orchestral tone painting with the energy of the TRI i DVE quintet, painting a multifaceted portrait of this culturally rich region.
