Peach Weber: The eternal patterer

03/10/2017 written by Alexandra Fitz
A mop of gray hair peeks out from under the cap. Better: it sticks out. A T-shirt with a Hawaiian shirt over it. And don't forget the gold chain. Peach Weber has always looked the same for decades. You could almost believe he was born like this. And was a "Gäx Bomb" or a "Mister Gaga" from the very first second.

The man from Aargau has been on stage for over 40 years and has written 15 programs. But Peter Weber from Wohlen is not thinking of stopping. His fans won't have to wait much longer: He will be presenting his new program "iPeach" in mid-October. And celebrates his 65th birthday. But retirement is out of the question - Peach Weber is talking about "active retirement".

A big belly for purely caring reasons

Anyone who accuses him of making flat, banal jokes has never been to a show. The comedian immediately draws the audience to his side, at the latest when he pulls out his guitar. Although he asks himself on his website: "When did you learn to play the guitar?" and immediately gives the answer himself: "I haven't learned yet."

Peach Weber takes the piss out of himself - and it's well received. For example, when he talks about his affluent belly. His explanation goes like this: "You know, I'm doing this with good intentions. I don't want my unemployed friend down there to become homeless too."
