The Baloise Session 2024 promises a broad spectrum of musical styles and generations, from pop legends to up-and-coming stars. "Strong emotions from curiosity to nostalgia are the order of the day. This is the power of the music of newcomers and superstars, which can be felt here in a unique club atmosphere," says Beatrice Stirnimann, CEO of the Baloise Session.

"Opening Night" is on Thursday, October 17, when Take That and Marc Sway take to the stage. The British pop legends will open the festival with their catchy hits and good humor.

On Friday, October 18, the "Soulful Disco" will follow with Seal and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who will delight the audience with their iconic voices and swinging memories. Seal, known for his velvety baritone, and the talented Sophie, who conquered the charts with her electropop and disco groove, promise an unforgettable evening. Another highlight is the performance by up-and-coming artist Jacoténe.

On Thursday, 24 October, Gary Clark Jr. and St. Vincent, who are both recognized as top guitarists, will perform. They combine innovative guitar virtuosity with various musical styles from blues to art-pop.

On Friday, October 25, Robert Plant presents his new project Saving Grace feat. Suzi Dian, which explores folk, Americana and blues. He will be supported by Marty Stuart, who will provide musical variety with traditional country and rockabilly.

The "Finale Virtuoso" on Friday, November 8 will be performed by Jacob Collier and Tony Ann , who are regarded as musical geniuses. Collier, known as the "Mozart of Generation Z", inspires with cross-genre sounds and interactive live shows. The 24-year-old Canadian pianist Tony Ann combines pop, techno and minimal music.

Each concert starts at 8 pm. All concerts take place in the Event Hall at Messe Basel. Advance ticket sales start on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
