Big Time Rush conquers the music world - and comes to Switzerland

On November 27, 2025, the Hallenstadion Zurich will vibrate with nostalgia. Big Time Rush, the stars from the Nickelodeon world, are bringing their "In Real Life Worldwide Tour" to Zurich.

The saga of Big Time Rush begins in Los Angeles in 2009. Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson and Carlos Pena Jr. are selected for a Nickelodeon series. But it soon becomes clear that this is more than just a TV show. "We immediately sensed that there was magic in the air," recalls Kendall. The chemistry between the four talents was there from the very first second.

From the screen to the charts

With their debut single "Big Time Rush", they captured the hearts of fans in 2009. The big breakthrough came quickly. Their first album "BTR" is released in 2010. It reaches number 3 in the Billboard charts and goes platinum. "It was an incredible feeling," says James. "Suddenly our songs were booming out of all the radios."

In the years that followed, hits like "Worldwide" and "Windows Down" dominated the airwaves. The band performed in sold-out arenas and thrilled millions of fans. "It was an exhilarating adventure," recalls Logan. "We were living the dream of a lifetime."

A new start after a creative break

In 2014, the band took a creative break. The members worked on solo projects, but stayed in touch. "We knew we would be back," assures Carlos.

In 2021, the time had finally come: Big Time Rush celebrated a triumphant comeback. With "Call It Like I See It", they returned with a bang. Their new album "Another Life" was released in 2023. "It feels like we've never been away," laughs Kendall. "The energy at our gigs is more intense than ever!"

More than just a boy band

What makes Big Time Rush so successful? "We're authentic," says James. "Our fans realize that we're friends behind the scenes too." This chemistry is evident in their music. Catchy melodies, driving beats and harmonious vocals characterize their style.

"We make music that's fun," explains Logan. "But we're not afraid to address serious topics."

One thing is clear: Big Time Rush has evolved from a teen boy band into a serious pop phenomenon. With nostalgic charm and a fresh sound, they captivate old and new fans alike. Who would have thought that one of the most successful bands of their generation would emerge from a Nickelodeon series?
