Billy Idol's new studio album will be released on April 25, 2025 - after more than ten years! "Dream Into It" combines autobiographical lyrics with celebrity guest appearances that are well worth listening to.
Billy Idol finally returns and presents an album that reflects his musical journey in an impressive way. The nine tracks tell the story of his beginnings in punk to his current maturity. The album was produced by Tommy English and features exclusive contributions from Steve Stevens, Avril Lavigne, Joan Jett and Alison Mosshart.
Avril Lavigne, the Canadian pop-punk icon, has teamed up with British rock legend Billy Idol for the single "77". The single combines Idol's classic rock sound with Lavigne's characteristic pop-punk style. Idol emphasized that Lavigne's contribution significantly enhanced the song: "It was already good with me, but with her it got three times better." The two performed the song live for the first time on April 28, 2025 on the US show Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Anyone who wants to see Billy Idol live will have the chance to do so on June 27, 2025 at the Summerside Festival in Grenchen. But beware: this is likely to be his only appearance in Switzerland this year. The festival therefore offers the opportunity to experience the new material live.
