The Robert Cray Band will be playing two concerts in Switzerland in summer 2025. On June 30, the band will perform at the Salle de L'Alhambra in Geneva, and on July 1 at the Klubsaal des Kaufleuten in Zurich.
Robert Cray has been a fixture on the blues scene for decades. With his distinctive voice and precise guitar playing, he has won numerous awards, including five Grammys. The current tour is also taking him and his band through Europe and offers the opportunity to experience classics from the album "Strong Persuader" as well as songs from more recent albums live. Above all, the combination of blues, soul and modern production makes Cray an artist who is known far beyond his genre.
For years, "The Robert Cray Band" has stood for blues and soul that combines traditional and modern influences. The interplay of Cray's distinctive guitar sound and the contributions of Dover Weinberg on keys, Richard Cousins on bass and Les Falconer on drums form the heart of their concerts. Both Geneva and Zurich offer the opportunity to experience the music of one of the most influential blues artists of our time live.
Ticketcorner Live Club members can already get tickets for the performances in Geneva and Zurich from Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Tickets will then go on sale to the general public on Friday, January 24, 2025.
