California punkers The Offspring come to Switzerland with new album

14/10/2024 written by Christoph Soltmannowski

Legendary punk rock band The Offspring are once again causing a stir in the music world with their new album "Supercharged", which has just been released. Their eleventh studio album takes the band's energy and characteristic sound to a new level. And on September 30, 2025, we'll be seeing them live at the Hallenstadion Zurich.

With their laid-back style, The Offspring from Orange County, California have influenced more than one generation musically since 1984. Their song "You're Gonna Go Far Kid" now has more than a billion streams on Spotify and ranks alongside "The Kids Aren't Alright", "Self Esteem", "Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)" and many other tracks among the band's most successful songs, all of which have achieved rock anthem status.

Power and confidence

The song "Make It All Right" is about the importance of a reliable partner in life who gives you strength and confidence. Frontman Dexter Holland explains: "We wanted this record to radiate pure energy from start to finish! That's why we called the record 'Supercharged'."

"Supercharged" was recorded in three different locations: Maui, Vancouver and at the band's home studio in Huntington Beach. According to Holland, the collaboration with renowned producer Bob Rock led to an outstanding result: "I feel like we've never sounded so good!"

We will soon be able to see for ourselves whether this will also be the case live. Tickets go on sale on October 18.
