From the tranquil town of Castrop-Rauxel to the Olympus of the global metalcore scene: Electric Callboy continue their impressive rise in the international music scene. The band, which was founded in 2010 and changed its name from Eskimo Callboy to Electric Callboy in 2022, has celebrated remarkable successes in recent years and massively increased its global fan base. On 19. 11. 2025 they will be performing at the Hallenstadion Zurich.
Electric Callboy's idiosyncratic musical style, which combines metalcore with electronic elements and catchy melodies, has earned them a loyal following. The band can now boast impressive figures, including over 4.4 million monthly Spotify listeners, a fan base of more than 2 million followers on various social media platforms and over half a billion streams worldwide.
In May 2024, Electric Callboy surprised their fans with the announcement of a collaboration with the Japanese kawaii metal band Babymetal. The joint single "Ratatata" was released on May 23, 2024 and reached over 1 million streams and views within 24 hours. The song made it to number one on YouTube trends and into the top 50 of the viral charts in over 42 countries.
The band is known for their energetic live performances. Their "Tekkno World Tour" was a huge success, selling over 250,000 tickets and headlining festivals worldwide. For their impressive stage shows, they were awarded "Best International Live Artist" at the Heavy Music Awards in the UK for the third time in a row.
