When Element of Crime come to the KKL in June, it will be beautifully melancholy and beautiful again. The Berliners-by-choice around singer Sven Regener will be bringing their timeless gems to Lucerne. And they have it all.
The band has been doing exactly what it wants to do since it was founded in West Berlin in 1985: scuffed-up ballads with a waltz beat, trumpet and accordion. Mainstream? Not a chance. YouTube optimization? Nope. Tiktok? Is my breath that bad?

The current tour is stopping off in Lucerne. The KKL will be intimate and intense - perfect for songs that tell of life as it really is: complicated, funny and yet beautiful. And yes: the cult book «Herr Lehmann» was also written by Sven Regener. Incidentally, if you meet him as an author, you should be on first-name terms, but as a musician you can be on first-name terms. These two souls in his chest make the man even more interesting.
