Faithless, the cult band behind hits such as "Insomnia" and "God Is a DJ", will be playing at Halle 622 in Zurich on November 29, 2024.
With their new tour through the UK and Europe, Faithless are continuing a success story that has lasted over two decades. The British cult band and pioneers of electronic dance, whose hits such as "Insomnia" broke down the boundaries between dance, pop and even rock and redefined the genre of electronic dance-pop, have been conquering dancefloors around the world since the mid-1990s.
The death of frontman Maxi Jazz in 2022 was a heavy blow, but the two band members Sister Bliss and Rollo are going on tour after an eight-year break to honor the legacy of the late singer. Accompanied by a seven-piece live band, they will celebrate the band's entire oeuvre and also present the existing combo's new music.
Neither the release date nor the track list for the band's eighth studio album are yet known, but the first single "Find A Way" promises a lot.
The positive reactions to the recent concerts and the headlining shows in 2024 (Glastonbury, Wilderness, Bestival) show that the audience can expect a convincing live set-up and a spectacular show with visual effects. With a mix of nostalgia and new soundscapes, the Faithless combo will prove that they are still at the forefront of the scene.
This concert is a must for die-hard Faithless fans. But it is also a highlight of the 2024 concert season for anyone who loves electronic sounds. The "Champion Sound Tour 2024" is more than just a tribute to Maxi Jazz – it is a statement that the creative music of Faithless is alive and well and will continue to evolve.
