The exceptional British artist Calum Scott is coming to Zurich. On October 22, 2025, his unmistakable voice will cast a spell over the Hallenstadion. Emotional moments and musical depth are pre-programmed.
Calum Scott was born in 1988 and grew up in Yorkshire. In 2015, he shot to fame on "Britain's Got Talent" when he touched an audience of millions with his interpretation of "Dancing on My Own". The song, composed by Swedish singer and songwriter Robyns, became a global hit and paved the way for the British singer's successful career. With his debut album "Only Human" and hits such as "You Are the Reason" and "No Matter What", Scott proved that he was more than just a casting talent. His songs are honest, personal and get under your skin.
Scott's open approach to his sexuality and personal challenges is particularly remarkable. With "No Matter What", he has not only told his own story, but also encouraged many people. He himself once explained that the song was born out of loneliness, acceptance and the heartbreaking but liberating story of his coming out. "What I love about this song is that it's not just limited to the story of sexual identity, but also addresses the parent-child relationship and acceptance as a whole. This song didn't make it onto my debut album because I just wasn't ready to share it with the world at that point."
On the upcoming tour, Calum Scott is likely to present new songs alongside his classics. The new album "Avenoir" will be released a few weeks before the concert in September. It is about our lives, in which we move like rowers: always forwards but backwards, we see where we have been but not where we are going.
Anyone who has ever seen Calum Scott live knows that his concerts are more than just music. They are pure emotion. So make a note: Advance ticket sales for the concert in Zurich start on April 11, 2025. If you would like to be reminded when tickets go on sale, you can subscribe to the ticket alarm.
Live Club members can already secure tickets from April 9.
With the single "God Knows", Calum Scott gives a foretaste of his new album "Avenoir", which is due to be released in September 2025.
