From July 30 to August 8, 2026, the bay of Biel/Bienne and Nidau will once again be transformed into one of the most beautiful festival grounds in Switzerland. With a line-up that leaves nothing to be desired: Lenny Kravitz, Macklemore and Amy Macdonald, among others, will perform at the biggest summer festival on Lake Biel. Over 80,000 visitors are expected.
Sometimes a festival only needs one name to promise summer. Lakelive 2026 has three: Lenny Kravitz, one of the biggest rock stars of our time, will be performing on the Lakelive stage. He will be joined by Macklemore, the rapper from Seattle who wrote music history with "Thrift Shop" and "Same Love", and Amy Macdonald, the Scottish singer-songwriter with the unmistakable voice and hits such as "This Is the Life". A headlining trio that speaks for itself.
But the Lakelive has never been just a three-star concert with a supporting program. The program is complemented by global audience favourites and successful pop acts such as Mark Forster and Nicky Jam, one of the most influential artists on the international Latin scene. Francophile visitors will also get their money's worth: Louane and KeBlack set strong accents for the French-speaking audience, while Ski Aggu creates an exuberant festival atmosphere with energetic rap.
This is the festival's particular strength: its breadth. Over ten days and on several stages, a program is created that connects generations. The Swiss music scene will also be prominently represented in 2026, including KT Gorique, Linda Elys, Dana, Phenomden & The Scrucialists, Splendid and many more. In addition to well-known national acts, numerous regional artists will once again be given a major platform. This combination of international appeal, national strength and regional identity has always characterized Lakelive.
Those who love Latin American energy will find Culcha Candela, Grupo Niche and Arturo y su Azucaribe to be strong representatives of a tradition that Lakelive has been cultivating for years. The festival has long since become one of the few Swiss venues where cumbia, reggaeton and afrobeats are not treated as exotic, but as a natural part of the program.
The full line-up includes Da Cruz, Son Mieux, KT Gorique, Phenomden & The Scrucialists, Two & The Sun and numerous electronic sunset acts spread throughout the festival.
The area on Lake Biel is divided into three zones: the "Meeting Point", the "Sandy Beach" and the "Show Stage". If you want to immerse yourself in the relaxed festival atmosphere, you can enter the grounds for as little as CHF 5. Children up to the age of 10 are admitted free of charge - summer vacation on Lake Biel included.
