World-class figure skating and first-class music stars - that's Art on Ice. The show will return to Zurich, Fribourg and Davos in February 2025, and Swiss musicians Marius Bear and Stress have been confirmed as the first acts on the upcoming tour.
Singer-songwriter Marius Bear (31) originally wanted to become a construction machinery mechanic, but then decided to pursue a career in music and studied Music Production at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute in London in 2017.
Marius is known for his powerful voice and won the Swiss Music Award in the Best Talent category in 2019. He already knows what to expect, as he stood in at short notice for British singer Rag'n'Bone Man in 2023, who had to cancel due to family reasons. "It was already a huge experience back then. I'm delighted that I can now also perform my own songs such as "My Crown" and "Not Loud Enough"," says the Appenzell native, who represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023.
Stress, whose real name is Andres Andrekson, was born in Tallinn 47 years ago and moved to Switzerland at the age of twelve. The rapper began his career as a member of the hip-hop group Double Pact before establishing himself as a solo artist. His first album "Billy Bear" was released in 2003, followed by other successful albums such as "Renaissance" (2007) and "Des rois, des pions et des fous" (2009), both of which went platinum. Stress is known for his socially critical lyrics and has received numerous awards, including several Swiss Music Awards. Stress is looking forward to the show, he says: "It's very exciting to be involved in a production like this and to be part of a bigger story."
The organizers will announce further show acts in the coming days.
Luminaries of figure skating

International skaters such as the Belgian European champion Loena Hendrickx and the French European champion Adam Siao Him Fa are also expected.
