Montreux Jazz Festival 2025: A stage for generations

Chaka Khan, Neil Young, Diana Ross, Benson Boone, Raye, Pulp and many more - the 2025 line-up brings together legends and newcomers like never before.

When summer begins in Montreux, musical history meets the future. From 4 to 19 July 2025, the Montreux Jazz Festival will bring together icons, hype stars and creative trailblazers on the shores of Lake Geneva - one last time on the spectacular Lake Stage before the festival returns to the renovated Congress Center in 2026.

Last dance on the lake stage

To bid farewell to the Lake Stage, the festival is going all out once again: Neil Young, who played a legendary three-hour set back in 2008, is back. Chaka Khan, celebrated for her 50th stage anniversary, will be there. As will Alanis Morissette and Santana. Other highlights: J Balvin, Raye, London Grammar, Noah Kahan, Jamie xx, FKA Twigs and Sam Fender.

The casino becomes a creative control center

The remodeled Casino Stage scores with better visibility, more comfort and exciting names: Finneas, two-time Oscar winner and brother of Billie Eilish, makes his debut on July 14. Japanese megastar Fujii Kaze plays on the same evening. James Blake opens the festival with an intimate piano solo, Leon Bridges brings neo-soul, Saint Levant the beats of the Orient.

A program between soul, pop, jazz and Latin vibes

Whether you're a jazz lover or a streaming kid, this line-up has something for everyone: RÜFÜS DU SOL, Pulp, Max Richter, Beth Gibbons, Nathy Peluso, Anavitória, Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso, Yseult, Laylow, Blanco White, Jorja Smith, Arooj Aftab - the list reads like a musical who's who.

Return to the congress center in 2026
While the festival unfolds once again on the lakeside promenade in 2025, preparations for the move to the modern congress center are in full swing. The iconic Auditorium Stravinski will once again be the heart of Montreux Jazz from 2026 - with even more space, technology and creative possibilities.
