The last two days of the Moon&Stars Festival on the Piazza Grande in Locarno promise impressive live acts in a magical atmosphere.
Combining a stay in the fair-weather canton of Ticino with a concert in the open air? Moon&Stars is making this possible again this year. The Piazza Grande in Locarno provides an enchanting backdrop for the incomparable festival atmosphere. Well-known stars such as Lenny Kravitz, Wincent Weiss, Patent Ochsner and Krokus have already attracted and thrilled numerous fans over the past few days.
Rapper Stress from western Switzerland, who is coming to Locarno with "MTV Unplugged" and is celebrating his 20th stage anniversary this year, will kick things off on Friday. His German colleague and dancehall legend Peter Fox will then take to the stage. Known for his solo hits and as a member of the band "Seeed", Peter Fox has long been a fixture on the German hip-hop scene and will perform hits such as "Haus am See" and "Schwarz zu Blau".
The last evening of Moon and Stars will be rounded off with a special line-up. The up-and-coming Swiss singer and songwriter Joya Marleen will enchant the audience with her sensitive voice and unmistakable blend of pop and folk. The crowning glory of the festival will be the Swiss band Hecht, who will transform the Piazza Grande into a big party with hits such as "Charlotta", "Kawasaki" and "Bisch ready für die Liebi vo mer".
