The British band Mumford & Sons will be performing at the Hallenstadion Zurich on November 20, 2025. Since their formation in 2007, the group has become a permanent fixture on the folk rock scene. Advance tickets go on sale on March 20 at 10 am.
The band formed in the British capital in 2007. Singer and guitarist Marcus Mumford, keyboardist Ben Lovett, bassist Ted Dwane and former banjo player Winston Marshall started out in small clubs. Their debut album "Sigh No More" (2009) brought them international attention. With songs such as "Little Lion Man" and "The Cave", they made their mark on modern folk rock.
After seven years without a new studio album, Mumford & Sons are releasing "Rushmere" on March 28, 2025. The title track of the same name has already delighted fans and is increasing anticipation for the upcoming tour. The band has evolved musically and combines their well-known folk-rock style with modern influences on the new album. The concert in Zurich will be a special event for many, as it will be the first major tour without founding member Winston Marshall, who left the band in 2021.
