Openair St. Gallen 2026 is bringing big names to Sittertobel: Twenty One Pilots, Nina Chuba, SDP, Paul Kalkbrenner and Scooter are among the headliners of the line-up. From 25 to 28 June, the festival offers a stylistically diverse program with acts from pop, electro, indie and hip-hop.
The line-up is headed by Twenty One Pilots. The duo from the USA has built up a worldwide fan base with hits such as «Stressed Out» and «Ride». Their sound mixes alternative, pop, hip-hop and rock. They performed at the Hallenstadion Zurich in April 2025 and are now coming to OpenAir St. Gallen.
Nina Chuba is one of the most successful German musicians of recent years. Her songs combine pop, rap and dancehall. «Wildberry Lillet» became a viral hit, which she last performed in Switzerland in October 2025 at the Hallenstadion.
SDP bring their mix of pop, rock and ironic chanting to St. Gallen. The Berliners are among the most popular live acts in the German-speaking world.
Electronic music also gets prominent stage time: Paul Kalkbrenner is one of the most renowned techno acts in Europe. His epic live shows and tracks such as «Sky and Sand» are an integral part of club culture.
No less energetic: Scooter. The trio around H.P. Baxxter stands for loud raves, shrill announcements and cross-generational parties, even years after their first hits.
Other international artists such as Zara Larsson and Jan Delay & Disko No. 1 ensure a great atmosphere in the Sittertobel.
Acts such as Hecht, Panda Lux, Baschi and Nina Valotti showcase the diversity of the local music scene. Everything from indie to pop to dialect can be found here. Swiss rap is prominently represented by artists such as Monet192 and Jule X.
Openair 2026 also offers strong guitar music. Nothing But Thieves deliver alternative rock with a clear edge. British duo Wet Leg bring a fresh alternative/indie sound with punk energy to the stage.
Of Monsters and Men from Iceland, a band that shaped the indie folk of the 2010s, returns.
In addition to Kalkbrenner, Modeselektor are also on the bill. Their mix of IDM, techno and experimentation has been inspiring audiences for years. They will be joined by Galantis, Souly and Christian Löffler, who, like Natascha Polké, will provide captivating live electronics.
