Patent Ochsner, the Bernese cult band led by frontman Büne Huber, has released its eleventh studio album, "Tag & Nacht". The work comprises 17 songs and presents the band with an unprecedented purity of sound. To accompany the album, Patent Ochsner will be performing at several Swiss festivals.
"Tag & Nacht" is Patent Ochsner's cleanest and purest album to date. Each track has been meticulously produced, giving the album a polished yet authentic feel. The songs are playful and collage-like, which underlines the proximity to Huber's artistic work. The wit and mischief of his painting and the music merge here to form a total work of art.
With songs such as "Shaiszelied", in which Huber sings nonsense with a Russian accent, the band demonstrates its playful sense of humor. Huber emphasizes the importance of taking the mickey out of each other in a humorous way.
The release of the album will be accompanied by a tour, during which the band will perform at various festivals in Switzerland.
