Philipp Fankhauser's blues doesn't want to be dirty, but strives for elegance, class and exudes musical brilliance. After a serious illness, the Thun native has long been active and on the road again. His eighteenth album of handmade, authentic music will be released in March - and then it's off on the "Something Tour 2025".
After the 2022 album "Heebie Jeebies", an excursion into times gone by, the current, contemporary Philipp Fankhauser that fans love so much is now back. Handmade, authentic music and lyrics that make you dream and think. Accompanied by his five regular musicians, Philipp Fankhauser's concerts are always a mixture of well-known songs and new, never-before-heard pieces. Country à la Fankhauser has its place just as much as classic blues shuffles and heart-warming ballads.
Philipp Fankhauser and his five regular musicians move effortlessly between blues, country, gospel, R&B, zydeco and French chanson.
With the brand new song "Jack in My Back", Philipp Fankhauser thanks a young (unknown) stem cell donor who helped him out of a major emergency last year.
