In December 2024, the time has finally come: Philipp Poisel, known for his soulful songs, is giving two Advent concerts in Switzerland. On December 8, he will be performing at the Mascotte in Zurich, and the following day, on December 9, at the Bierhübeli in Bern.
Solo, acoustic and in person in predominantly smaller venues - this is how fans know and love the Advent appearances, which have so far only taken place in Germany. So why not look forward to the Christmas season now with a ticket for Poisel's concert?
The singer is known for creating a special connection with his audience at his concerts. This intimate atmosphere is further enhanced at his Advent concerts. With acoustic arrangements and a minimalist stage presence, he manages to speak directly to every listener. The concerts are a welcome break from the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle, an opportunity to pause and enjoy.
"Being able to go on a Christmas concert tour is always something very special for me. At these concerts, you are particularly close to each other and, perhaps in the truest sense of the word, come to your senses at this often hectic time," says the German singer-songwriter.
Of course, his best-known songs are also a must at these special concerts. Titles such as "Wie soll ein Mensch das ertragen", "Eiserner Steg", "Liebe meines Lebens" and "Wolke 7" are integral parts of his repertoire and always provide goosebump moments. These songs, which tell of love, loss and hope, touch the audience and fit perfectly into the contemplative Advent season.
