The rapper, who already crossed genre boundaries on his last album «Austin», presents a country album with «F1».
In recent years, Post Malone has moved away from his image as a rapper and is breaking new musical ground. His new album «F1» is a country album, as his last singles and collaborations with stars of the country scene such as Blake Shelton already indicated. «Posty» already showed a strong tendency towards country on «Austin», but with «F1» he is now immersing himself completely in the genre.
This turn of events may come as a surprise to some fans, but for the artist it is a logical development. «Drunk Dial» and «I Had Some Help» show how seriously he takes the genre and that he clearly feels at home in it. Post Malone remains true to himself by continuing to push genre boundaries and take musical risks.
With «F1», he could also win over new fans who appreciate his authenticity and versatility. It will be interesting to see how the album is received by the public. It also remains exciting to see whether the new album will be followed by a tour announcement.
