Postplatz Festival
The 28th Postplatz Festival in Appenzell invites music lovers of all ages on July 19 & 20, 2024. After moving to the more spacious Kronengarten square in 2019, music fans can expect a unique atmosphere right in the heart of Appenzell. Thanks to the paved square, the festival is independent of the weather. The 2024 line-up features exclusively Swiss acts.
Blues and rock are on the program on Friday. Headliner Philipp Fankhauser will perform his best-known hits from the last few decades on his "Tree times Twenty" tour. He will be accompanied by hard rockers Shakra, the Deep Purple tribute band Shades of Purple and Roger O'Dubler & The Crying Doves.
Saturday starts with pop newcomer Dom Sweden and his hits such as "Hawaii" and "OMG". Afterwards, Dodo will present his new album and songs such as "Hippie-Bus" and "Zürimaa", followed by the moving Veronica Fusaro from Thun. The new dialect sensation Fründe will give their first live concert in Appenzell before the professional musicians of the band Scheinheilig crown the festival finale with hits such as "Geboren um zu Leben". The Unheilig tribute band promises an enthusiastic audience.

Various food and drink stands await guests on the festival grounds. For an exclusive experience, VIP tickets can be purchased, which include all soft drinks, beer and a delicious 2-course meal. In addition, two VIP terraces offer the best view of the stage and a separate toilet facility is available.
With around 1,200 visitors expected per day, the 2-day passes are almost sold out.
