If you missed Hecht in spring, you'll have several chances to catch up this summer. Kunz will also be performing three times. The Lucerne dialect singer will be taking the whole country with him - at Stars of Sounds Aarberg (Saturday 4.7.), at Heitere Open Air (Sunday 9.8.), at Open Air Gampel (Saturday 22.8.) and at Schupfart Festival (Saturday 26.9.). Ticino's hard rock veterans Gotthard will also be performing in compact form in late summer: at the Riverside Festival Aarburg (Saturday 22.8.), at the SummerDays Festival Arbon (Friday 28.8.), and at the Seaside Festival in Spiez (Saturday 29.8.).
Lausanne hip-hop pioneers Sens Unik will be playing at Heitere (Sunday 9.8.), Open Air Lumnezia (Saturday 25.7.) and Gampel (Saturday 22.8.). Gölä, who usually makes himself rather scarce, plays twice: on Friday 10.7. at Moon & Stars and on Friday 31.7. at Stars in Town.
There are also several international acts with multiple bookings. Lenny Kravitz will be gracing two stages in Switzerland in 2026: Stars in Town in Schaffhausen (Wednesday 5 August) and the Lakelive Festival in Nidau (Thursday 6 August). The latter is even celebrating the performance as a "historic moment for the festival and the region". His colleague Sting - who opens the summer with a concert at Stars in Town (Wednesday, 29.7.) - is also on the program at the Montreux Jazz Festival (Saturday 4.7.). After a break due to illness,Lewis Capaldi has found his way back - and is visiting Switzerland three times: the Scottish singer can be seen at Moon+Stars in Locarno on the Piazza Grande (Wednesday, July 15), makes a guest appearance at the Montreux Jazz Festival (Tuesday, July 14) and is also on the program at Stars in Town in Schaffhausen (Thursday, July 30). Three performances in three completely different atmospheres.
Amy Macdonald, always one of the most frequently seen greats on Swiss festival stages, will be a guest at Stars in Town (Friday, 7.8.), the Lakelive Festival (Saturday, 8.8.) and the Heitere Open Air (Sunday 9.8.) in 2026. And Macklemore isn't doing too badly either: Stars in Town Schaffhausen (Wednesday 5.8., together with Lenny Kravitz) and Lakelive Biel (Friday 7.8.) are on his tour schedule.
A special situation arises around Roxette: this summer season, the Swedish band is playing at Moon+Stars Locarno (Saturday, 11.7.), the Seaside Festival in Spiez (Saturday, 29. 8.) and Summerdays Arbon (Friday, 28.8.), sharing an almost identical line-up with Anastacia, Nena and Gotthard at Seaside and Summerdays. The latter, in turn, will be present at two festivals on the list.
What this festival panorama shows: many faces can be seen several times, in the mountains, on Lake Constance, on Lake Geneva, on the village square. If you plan well, you can meet your favorite artists in more than one place. If you don't plan at all, you'll meet them somewhere anyway.
