The fascination of Michael Jackson is unbroken - and with the Michael Jackson Tribute Show, it is now returning to the stage. The production is dedicated to the musical legacy of the "King of Pop" and brings his greatest hits to Swiss stages in an energetic live performance.
The focus is on British artist Koffi Missah, who comes amazingly close to the original with his dancing precision, voice and stage presence. Missah is no stranger to the stage: He has already appeared on stage in musicals such as Cats, Starlight Express and Beat It! and is regarded as one of the best Michael Jackson interpreters in Europe.
He is accompanied by an international band, two singers and a dance crew, who together present 24 songs from all of Jackson's creative phases - from the early hits of the Jackson 5 such as "I Want You Back" or "Blame It On The Boogie" to classics such as "Billie Jean", "Beat It", "Thriller" and "Black or White". The mixture of live music, elaborate choreography, authentic costumes and visual effects creates an atmospheric homage that is both respectful and captivating.
The show has been successfully touring Europe since 2009 - with over 500 performances in Germany, France, Italy and Spain. Now the first Swiss tour follows. The program lasts around 140 minutes including an interval - enough time to immerse yourself in the world of an exceptional artist whose songs and dance moves have shaped generations.
