Wintercircus Salto presents its "Lumina" show in the 2024 season from November 23 to December 31, 2024 in Kloten near Zurich. Light and darkness, sound and silence as well as international artists and performers merge into a magical show in the circus tent's Chapiteau.
"Lumina" is conceived as a journey through the facets of light. Lumina rises in the midst of darkness, its light dancing in all shades and penetrating the darkness.
The show combines classic circus acts with modern elements. Fabienne Louves accompanies the show with live vocals, while artists from various countries demonstrate their skills.
Lilla Csepregi from Hungary shows slack line art, Emeline Goavec defies gravity with her aerial acrobatics. American Dalton Sessumes makes drones dance through the air in a fascinating choreography.
The Arctic Ensemble from Finland performs daring double cradle and banquine acrobatics. The Odgerel Contorsionists from Mongolia amaze with their incredible body control, while Mukhamadi from Tajikistan redefines the limits of what is possible with his handstands.
The bungee strap performance by Yoann Benhamou from France will also be a source of excitement. And there's more: RoboPole from Germany presents robot pole acrobatics and the French duo Emyo presents trapeze art.
The German duo Galina & Sonny provide comedic interludes. A six-member dance ensemble from Spain, consisting of Jose, Edele, Nicolas, Lucrecia, Hector and Raquel, complements the show with choreographic elements.
Musical accompaniment is provided by the Salto Band with first-class musicians under the direction of Dimitri Monstein.
