Three years after launching her career, Beatrice Egli (28) is already considered the queen of pop music and is compared to Helene Fischer and Andrea Berg. Now she is on tour with her new program.

Beatrice Egli: That remains my secret. But we've come up with a surprise for the four Swiss concerts. Just this much: it has something to do with our language. I wanted to do something special - for my home country.
You are the export hit par excellence. Perfect for the Eurovision Song Contest, right?
Thank you very much! A difficult topic. You're up against an extreme audience there. If the result is great, everyone is happy. But if an artist does less well, it's viewed very critically. At the moment, I can't imagine taking part. Maybe I don't have the courage.
How do you deal with mishaps on stage?
At first I was completely overwhelmed. But now I'm more familiar with the audience and don't get out of step so quickly. On the contrary, I even find mishaps funny. They happen all the time.
Like at the Golden Hen awards when your playback skipped.
Yes, that was really embarrassing. And my biggest public mishap to date. The worst thing about it is that it was broadcast live and will now remain on the internet forever. But I take even that with humor now: the pitfalls of a live performance.
What does your personal playlist look like?
It's very diverse. Schlager, James Bay or Sarah Connor and Andreas Bourani, it's all on there. I listen to songs that suit my mood at the moment. Ländler on the Alps - less so at home.
Do you also listen to your own songs?
Yes, during training. That pushes me a lot. I have to work hard for my stage programs, and when I listen to my music, I always come up with new ideas.
Are you a party girl?
Partly, partly. The biggest party for me is the tour itself. But there are sometimes evenings when we continue partying after the concert. But that doesn't last the whole tour. That's why there are many nights when I stay in the hotel - and sleep to recover.
