US singer Lana Del Rey celebrates her 31st birthday today. But who exactly is this drama pop queen?

Lana Del Rey does not give direct interviews. She answers journalists' questions in writing. As befits a singer, the New Yorker prefers to express herself through music. "I wanted to make an album that was about me, but I wasn't really in the mood to talk about myself," Lana Del Rey recently told "New Music Express" about the creation of her current record "Honeymoon". And: "I was happy at the time, I didn't want the album to be too cathartic."
