With his new album "Who Built The Moon?", Noel Gallagher surpasses himself: He shows off his knowledge and skills in every conceivable area.
"Who Built The Moon" is Noel Gallagher's third album.
The artist
With "Who Built The Moon?", Noel Gallagher is releasing his third album after leaving the rock band Oasis in 2009. Noel doesn't value mainstream music that highly. In his opinion, there aren't many good musicians left. Noel Gallagher counts Paul McCartney among them. With his album "Who Built The Moon?", Noel has now placed himself precisely in this category.
The album
Together with the Irish producer, DJ and composer David Holmes, Noel Gallagher worked on the album "Who Built The Moon?" for over two years. For the first time, Noel wrote the material for the album exclusively in the studio. The album not only features cool guitar riffs and grooves, but also instrumental and choir parts. The short film "On The Record: Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds -Who Built The Moon?" will be released at the same time as the album, exclusively on Apple Music.
The verdict
With "Who Built The Moon?", Noel Gallagher shows that he has it in him and is indeed part of his "good musician" division. From pop to funk to soul, everything is included. So it should appeal to Noel fans as well as anyone who doesn't know him yet.
