Helene Fischer is playing a total of 69 concerts on her new tour, five of them in the Hallenstadion Zurich alone. We attended the tour premiere in Hanover and were not disappointed.
33 trucks with stage material, eight crew buses, twelve dancers, nine band members, eight Cirque du Soleil artists and a total of 150 people on tour: the figures for Helene Fischer's (33) mega tour are impressive. The effort is worth it: at the first of 69 concerts, the pop star wowed the audience in Hanover with her concert.
The show, which was developed in collaboration with creators from Canada's Cirque du Soleil, is all about moving away from kitsch and towards class. Fischer does not fly through the hall on giant birds, but proves herself in aerial acrobatics. "I deliberately sought and found a challenge on this tour," she said in advance.

Helene's new show is at the highest level
The show is reminiscent of pop greats such as Lady Gaga (31) and Kylie Minogue (49). Lady Gaga because of the opening dress, which is a blue body with spiky shoulders. And the dress for the song "Wenn Du Lachst", where the skirt is a fountain. Lady Gaga didn't have that yet! Kylie Minogue comes to mind during the show because of the glitter and all the naked skin of the twelve dancers. "That was something for the women, soon there will be something for the men too," said Fischer ironically, when her male dancers were topless on stage - there are many male fans who probably prefer to watch the dancers rather than the female dancers.

Between songs, Fischer was natural: "Behind this singer, there's only one person," she said about herself. "We all have a lot of self-doubt. But believe me: everyone is beautiful in their own way!" She also thanked her parents with the song "You made me strong", sang "Butterfly" for her three godchildren and cleared up the pregnancy rumors: "There's still nothing!" she said with a laugh.

The fact that she's only human was proven by two small lyric blunders during the show. Helene Fischer skillfully covered them up with her likeable manner. No one is flawless!

The pop goddess proves her talent for over three hours
Fischer's music is no longer just Schlager, but diverse: country, South American sounds, electro beats and lots of pop. It got wild when Helene Fischer invited people to the "coolest club" after "Achterbahn" and a remix by Dutch DJ Afrojack boomed through the hall.Helene Fischer sings, dances, drums, gymnastics and floats across the stage for around three hours and twenty minutes before the program ends with the 29th song, "Atemlos".

Helene Fischer will visit fourteen cities on her tour until next spring. This means that 700,000 people will be able to see the concert, which can easily compete with shows by Madonna and Lady Gaga. The pop singer's mega show will take place in Zurich from October 24 to 29, 2017. A few tickets are still available.
