Organizer Adrian Brugger talks about street food and magical moments in the old town of Schaffhausen.

Adrian Brugger, what's special about your festival this year?
The brightly colored old town houses on the festival grounds provide the perfect backdrop for one of the most beautiful festivals in Switzerland. There are selected street food stalls around the festival site. An additional stage with new talent rounds off the overall experience.
Which acts are you particularly proud of?
We are particularly looking forward to superstar Bryan Adams, who has been on our wish list for a long time. But George Ezra and Emeli Sandé, who both have a great music career ahead of them, are also a perfect match for Stars in Town in terms of quality.
What criteria did you use to put together the line-up?
Stars in Town attaches great importance to program stringency and deliberately appeals to different target groups every evening. A balanced mix of new discoveries and tried and tested favorites is very important to us. We want to cover a broad spectrum of popular music genres - such as rock, pop, soul, funk and jazz.
What else is on offer besides the music?
Stars in Town offers a world of experience consisting of live music, street food, great bars and a great atmosphere. Our second stage for young talents is also very popular with visitors. Our guests appreciate the overall package.
Festivals don't have a dress code. But is there anything you should bear in mind when it comes to clothing and outfits?
We have the ideal festival site. Dry and clean shoes are guaranteed here.
What moments are you personally looking forward to the most?
Our motivated volunteers, who are the real hosts of our festival. And, of course, the exuberant atmosphere on the Piazza Grande in German-speaking Switzerland.
What was the best experience you've already had with the festival?
When the spark jumps into the audience and everyone sings and dances. These are the magical moments that fill us as organizers with great satisfaction.
