Ticketcorner Live Session presents Gölä "unplugged"

23/01/2018 written by Mario von Ow und Christoph Soltmannowski
2018 will be a Gölä year! The most successful Swiss rock star turns 50 on June 7 - and celebrates his 20th career anniversary on December 1 and 2 with two concerts at the Hallenstadion Zurich. He performed one of his hits in an "unplugged" version exclusively for the Ticketcorner blog.

It's been two decades since the Bernese dialect rocker scored an instant hit with his debut album "Uf u dervo" in 1998. It sold 250,000 copies, making it the most successful Swiss dialect album to date.

His new album "Urchig", on which Gölä sings his hits with various Swiss yodel choirs, has also reached the top of the charts - and is currently nominated for "Best Album" at the Swiss Music Awards.

At the Ticketcorner Live Session, Gölä will perform his 1999 hit "I hät no vil blöder ta" in an unplugged version, accompanied by guitarist Oliver Keller.

The rush for the concerts at the beginning of December is already huge, and the one on December 1 is already sold out. Numerous surprise guests are expected at the concerts on 1 and 2 December 2018. Apart from the anniversary shows, no further Gölä concerts are planned for 2018.
