Video report from Samsung Hall: The countdown is on

24/01/2017 written by Christoph Soltmannowski
Three days before the opening of the Samsung Hall with Gölä & Co. we were allowed to take a look inside the 40-million-euro building. Entrepreneur Hans-Ulrich Lehmann presents his new event hall.

After around a year of construction, the Samsung Hall has been built very close to the Stettbach S-Bahn station in Dübendorf, right on the city limits of Zurich. The new event location offers space for up to 5,060 people and can be used for public and corporate events. The heart of the building is a 120 square meter LED wall that can be divided into three sections and a hydraulic stage that can be divided into six sections and measures 18 × 10 m.

Interview with the Samsung Hall operator

The construction costs of around 40 million Swiss francs were financed by a private sponsorship group led by Samsung Hall operator Hans-Ulrich Lehmann. The Ticketcorner reporter team asked him about the current state of affairs and provides some initial video impressions. His personal conclusion: "There's still a lot to do, but the hall will open on Friday as planned."
