To celebrate the 20th anniversary of his pop career, Baschi is inviting people to his home town: On September 7, there will be a free concert for 4,000 fans on the village square in Gelterkinden - exactly where his grandmother taught Baschi to play soccer when he was three.
"Willkommä Dähei - 20 Jahre Baschi" is the name of the festive event, which will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2024 on the beautiful village square in Gelterkinden in the Basel region. Baschi invites you - and admission is therefore free. In order to be granted access to the festival grounds, a free admission ticket must be purchased in advance from Ticketcorner. To support the local vendors, a drinks voucher worth CHF 10.00 per person will be charged when ordering.
Baschi announces that he would like to have one big birthday party for his career, which he would like to celebrate with the people who shaped his first small steps: The inhabitants of Gelterkinden. He explains: "My grandmother made the first attempts to teach me how to play football on the village square, and I laid the foundations for my musical career in the school choir. My mother still talks about those moments today".
Baschi is not only inviting his friends, relatives and all music enthusiasts in our country to celebrate with him. Renowned surprise guests have also been announced.
From 4 p.m., a food mile with regional food trucks will invite you to a culinary feast; the afterparty will take place after the concert in the nearby Marabu Club. A separate ticket is required for this.
