In November, Zara Larsson is giving a concert at Halle 622 in Zurich. In this interview, she reveals how she keeps fit and how she met her boyfriend.
Where do you live at the moment?
In Stockholm with my family, where I was born and grew up. I love living with them.
You used to do ballet. Do you still dance?
No, unfortunately not. But I am very happy that I danced ballet for years. I simply benefited an incredible amount from it and know how to move. These days I tend to dance jazz and funk.
How do you stay in such good shape?
I'm just really lucky with my metabolism. I practically never train. Except when practising choreographies, of course.
Do you get a lot of modeling requests?
As a singer, I don't tend to get modeling requests. They tend to be deals that are about me as a person presenting something. But I think it's cool to have such agreements with brands like Nike or H&M.
What does your day-to-day work look like?
It's so different. I don't have a typical day. I either have photo shoots, events, appearances or days that I spend in the studio.
You are in a relationship with British male model Brian Whittaker. Tell us about your modern love story?
Oh, it's not that special. I think a lot of people meet on the internet these days. I posted a picture of an ultra-hot guy on Twitter and asked who he was. My community found him for me and I followed him on Instagram. A little later, we met in London and everything took its course. But we took our time and only got together a year and a half later.
How are things going at the moment?
It's great! We see each other all the time. He's sitting next to me right now. Apart from his looks, he has a lot more to offer. He's a great man.
