The 2025 FIS Snowboard, Freestyle and Freeski World Championships in St. Moritz Engadin promise to be a highlight in the international winter sports calendar. From March 17 to 30, 2025, the Engadin will be transformed into a Mecca for freestyle sports, where the elite of the scene will compete in various disciplines.
The competitions will be held at three strategically chosen venues: Corvatsch, Corviglia and St. Moritz. The Park & Pipe competitions take place on Corvatsch, while Corviglia in St. Moritz is the venue for ski and snowboard cross, snowboard alpine, aerials and moguls. The spectacular Big Air events are held directly in St. Moritz.
Around 1,500 athletes from 40 nations are expected to compete for 90 medals in a total of 17 disciplines. We can look forward to exciting competitions in slopestyle, halfpipe, big air, cross, parallel giant slalom, parallel slalom, aerials and moguls.
In addition to the exciting competitions, the Freestyle World Championships 2025 in St. Moritz offer a varied supporting program that will make the event an unforgettable experience. One highlight of the supporting program is the daily medal ceremonies, where the best athletes will be honoured for their achievements.
Particularly noteworthy are the concerts that take place during the World Championships. On March 19, 2025, Swiss rapper Stress will give the official opening concert, and on March 21, 2025, Swedish rock bands Mando Diao, Royal Republic and German duo Milky Chance will perform. On March 22, Berlin dance icon Alle Farben, DJ and producer Bennett and electro star Sam Feldt will perform, on March 28, rappers Finch and Jule X and German band SDP, and on March 29, German rapper Sido and his Swiss colleague EAZ and German pop artist Esther Graf.
The supporting program will run for the entire duration of the World Championships from 17 to 30 March 2025, offering visitors the opportunity to experience the unique atmosphere of the Freestyle World Championships away from the competition venues and get in touch with other fans from all over the world. The organizers have created a balanced program that is attractive for sports enthusiasts as well as families and those interested in culture.
During the two weeks, the Engadin will not only be the center of freestyle sports, but also a place for encounters and exchanges between different cultures and nations.
