Englishman James Morrison is one of the guest stars of Art on Ice 2017 and is known for songs such as "Wonderful World" and "You Make it Real". We asked him 5 questions.
How do you prepare for the Art on Ice show?
I'm always prepared. But seriously, I won't start rehearsing until next year. It's great to be here.
What is the biggest challenge?
Clearly mixing the music with the dance. I met Sarah Meier recently. She's an excellent figure skater, so I'm not worried. Her moves are fantastic. And I'll find it hard not to get too distracted by the show.
Do you sometimes miss your past as a street performer?
I've just come back from a trip where I played my favorite songs with just my guitar. That was fun! I sometimes miss being spontaneous and surprising people. But I definitely no longer yearn to stand in the cold and play for pennies.
How has your daughter changed your life?
I've learned to have fun again. Before, I was full of worries. Now I'm discovering the child in me again.
What is your favorite trophy?
The Brit Award. My daughter even says it's hers.
