Super10Kampf: Schurter, Stucki & Co. invite you to the legendary sports party

It's that time again in November: the celebrities of the Swiss sports scene meet for the Super10Kampf in the Hallenstadion.

Entertainment, excitement and laughs are guaranteed. And the Super10Kampf has already provided scenes that have a permanent place in Swiss sporting history. Even if they are the result of a mishap, as was the case with Simon Ammann in 2005.

It is unforgettable how the two-time Olympic ski jumping champion runs into the Hallenstadion, which is sold out with over 11,000 spectators, pulls his shirt over his face like a footballer and then - virtually blind - runs straight into the camera.

For a moment, the shock goes through the audience. SRF presenter Sascha Ruefer, who is hosting the show, will say years later: "I thought the event was over." But Ammann got up again and laughed with a bloody lip. And the whole stadium laughs with him and breathes a sigh of relief.

Spectacle is also guaranteed this year thanks to the high-caliber field of participants. Olympic mountain bike champion Nino Schurter, top wrestler Christian Stucki and the new dream duo in beach volleyball, Joana Heidrich and Anouk Vergé-Dépré, will be among those doing the honors in Zurich.

The motto of this year's Super10Kampf is "Wild West". The stars like it. "Even the photo shoot was a taste of what we can expect in the Wild West," says Joana Heidrich. And Christian Stucki is motivated: "I'm already busy practising my lasso throwing."

All proceeds from the events go to Swiss Sports Aid, which promotes and supports Swiss athletes.
